Listening to a stereo radio
station

When you tune in a stereo FM station, the STEREO
indicator lights up if the signal is sufficiently strong.
If the signal is weak, you can still listen to the
station in mono mode. In this case, tune in as
follows.

Press the AUTO/MONO button.

The MONO indicator lights up.

Select the station you would like to
listen to using the TUNING

button.

Selecting preset stations

Follow the procedure below to select a preset
station stored in memory.

Select FM or AM using the BAND
button. (only for U.S. and Canadian
models)

Use the PRESET or ® button to
select the desired preset station.

Clearing preset stations

You can clear preset stations from the preset memory.

Select the station as explained in
the previous section.

Press and hold the MEMORY but-
ton and press the AUTO/MONO but-
ton within a second.

“..... ..... ” appears on the display.

Note
If you fail to press the AUTO/MONO button while
holding down the MEMORY button immediately,
the AUTO MEMORY function will start operating.
