OVERVIEW
KEY BUTTONS (FIG. 1)
1. : Set alarm and snooze on / off

GETTING STARTED
INSERT BATTERIES (FIG. 3)
Batteries serve as back up power supply. For continuous
use of LCD backlight, always plug in the adapter.
1. Remove the battery compartment.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities (+ / -).
3. Press RESET after each battery change.
CLOCK
CLOCK RECEPTION
This product is designed to synchronize its clock automatically
with a clock signal:
•
EU: DCF-77 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of
Frankfurt, Germany.
• UK: MSF-60 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of
Anthorn, England.
• US: WWVB-60 signal: within 3200km (2000 miles) of
Fort Collins Colorado. Manually set clock to select time
zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern).
To manually activate / deactivate a clock signal:
Press and hold
.
NOTE Reception takes 2-10 minutes. If the signal is weak,
it can take up to 24 hours to get a valid signal.
NOTE
•
To ensure good reception of clock signal, place the unit
near a window and keep it away from metal surfaces
and electrical appliances.
• Do not operate the unit over a steel desk or metal
surface, as this will interfere with clock signal reception.

MANUALLY SET CLOCK
For BA200:
1. Press and hold
.
2. Press or to change the settings.
3. Press to confirm.
4. The settings order is: hour, minute, second, year, month,
date and time zone. The weekday will match automatically.
NOTE • Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 12 hours from
the received clock signal time.
• Press to select 12 / 24 hour format.
For BA200A:
1. Press
to select time zone: (P) Pacific, (E) Eastern,
(C) Central or (M) Mountain.
2. Press and hold .
3. Press
or to change the settings.
4. Press to confirm.
5. The settings order is: D-T/S-T, 12/24 hr, hour, minute,
second, year, month and date. The weekday will match
automatically.
NOTE “D-T” means Daylight Saving Time and “S-T” means
Normal Time.
ALARM
To set the alarm:
1. Press and hold .
2. Press
( for US) or to set hour and minute.
3. Press to confirm. indicates alarm is activated.
To toggle alarm and snooze On / Off:
Press
. indicates alarm is activated, whereas
indicates snooze is activated.
To silence the alarm:
• Press to silence it for 5 minutes. will flash
continuously.
OR
• Press any other key to turn the alarm off.
PRESSURE
To select barometer measurement unit:
Press
to toggle between mb/hPa and inHg.
SET ALTITUDE
Input the altitude of the location for an accurate pressure analysis.
1. Press and hold .
2. Use
or to set the altitude in 10 m (30 ft) increments
from -300 m (-900 ft) to 1200 m (3600 ft).
3. Press to confirm.
PRESSURE TREND
RISE STEADY FALL
NOTE After inserting the batteries or resetting the unit, please
allow 12 hours for the unit to record the incoming air pressure
data for calculating and analysing the weather forecast.
WEATHER FORECAST
This product forecasts the next 12 to 24 hours of weather
within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius.

TEMPERATURE
To toggle temperature unit:

BACKLIGHT
Press to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
NOTE The backlight will always be turned on when the
power adapter is used (OPTIONAL).
RESET
Press the RESET hole at the back of the unit to return to the
default settings.
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust,
temperature or humidity.
• Do not cover the ventilation holes with any items such as
newspapers, curtains etc.
• Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid over
it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.
• Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components. This
invalidates the warranty.
• Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
• Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual
display.
• When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected
separately for special treatment.
• Placement of this product on certain types of wood
may result in damage to its finish for which Oregon
Scientific will not be responsible. Consult the furniture
manufacturer's care instructions for information.
• The contents of this manual may not be reproduced
without the permission of the manufacturer.
• Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted municipal
waste. Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.
• Please note that some units are equipped with a
battery safety strip. Remove the strip from the battery
compartment before first use.

POUR COMMENCER
MISE EN PLACE DES PILES (FIG. 3)
Les piles n’ont qu’une fonction d’alimentation de secours.
Si vous désirez utiliser continuellement le rétro éclairage de
l’écran LCD, veuillez brancher l’adaptateur secteur.
1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
2. Insérez les piles, en respectant les polarités (+ / -).
3. Appuyer sur RESET chaque fois que les piles ont été
remplacées.
HORLOGE
RÉCEPTION DE L’HORLOGE
Ce produit est conçu pour synchroniser automatiquement
l’horloge avec le signal radio :
•
EU : Signal DCF-77 : dans un rayon de 1500 Km (932
miles) depuis Frankfort, Allemagne.
• UK : Signal MSF-60 : dans un rayon de 1500 Km (932
miles) depuis Anthorn, Angleterre.
• US : Signal WWVB-60 : dans un rayon de 3200 km (2000
miles) de Fort Collins, Colorado. Réglez manuellement
l’horloge pour sélectionner le fuseau horaire (heure
Pacifique, des montagnes, Centrale ou côte Est
Pour activer/désactiver manuellement le signal de
l’horloge:

REMARQUE La réception prend de 2 à 10 minutes. Si le
signal est faible, 24 heures peuvent être nécessaires pour
obtenir un signal valide.
REMARQUE
•
Pour assurer une bonne réception du signal radio de
l’horloge, placez l’appareil près d’une fenêtre et éloignez
le des surfaces métalliques et appareils électriques.
• Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil sur un bureau ou
une surface métallique, ceci créerait une interférence
avec la réception du signal de l’horloge.

REGLER MANUELLEMENT L’HORLOGE
Pour BA200 :
1. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton
.
2. Appuyez sur ou pour modifier les réglages.
3. Appuyez sur pour confirmer.
4. Les réglages s’effectuent dans l’ordre suivant : Heure,
minute, seconde, année, mois, date et fuseau. Les jours
de la semaine correspondront automatiquement.
REMARQUE
•
La fonction de fuseau horaire règle l’horloge à +/- 12
heures de l’heure du signal reçu.
• Appuyez sur pour sélectionner le format de l’heure
12 / 24.
Pour BA200A :
1. Appuyez sur
pour sélectionner le fuseau : Heure
Pacifique (P), Côte Est (E), Centrale (C) ou des
Montagnes (M).
2. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton .
3. Appuyez sur ou pour modifier les réglages.
4. Appuyez sur pour confirmer.
5. Les réglages s’effectuent dans l’ordre suivant : D-
T/S-T, 12/24 H, heure, minute, seconde, année, mois
et date. Les jours de la semaine correspondront
automatiquement.
NOTE “D-T” signifie heure avancée (été) et “S-T” correspond
aux heures normales (hiver).
L’ALARME
Pour régler l’alarme :
1. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton
.
2. Appuyez sur ( pour US) ou pour régler
l’heure et les minutes.
3. Appuyez sur pour confirmer. indique que l’alarme
est activée.
Pour alterner entre activer/désactiver l’alarme et le
rappel d’alarme :
Appuyez sur
. indique que l’alarme est active, alors
que indique que le rappel d’alarme est activé.
Pour couper le son de l’alarme :
•
Appuyez sur pendant 5 minutes pour couper le
son de l’alarme. clignotera en continu.
OU
• Appuyez sur n’importe quel autre bouton pour éteindre
la sonnerie du réveil.
PRESSION
Pour sélectionner l’unité de mesure du baromètre :
Appuyez sur
pour passer de la pression atmosphérique
en mb à celle en inHg.
RÈGLE L’ALTITUDE
Entrez l’altitude de votre localisation pour une analyse
précise de la pression.
1. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton
.
2. Utilisez ou pour régler l’altitude par incréments
de 10 m (30 pieds) de -300 m (-900 pieds) à 1 200 m
(3600 pieds).
3. Appuyez sur pour confirmer.
VARATION DE PRESSION
AUGMENTATION STABLE DIMINUTION
NOTE Après avoir inséré les piles ou réinitialisé l’appareil,
attendez 12 heures pour que l’appareil enregistre les
données d’entrée des pressions atmosphériques afin de
pouvoir analyser et donner les prévisions météo.
PRÉVISIONS MÉTÉOROLOGIQUES
Ce produit vous permet de connaître les prévisions
météorologiques pour les prochaines 12 à 24 heures dans
un rayon de 30 à 50 Km (19-31 miles).
