AUDIO button (41)
This button is used to select foreign language
soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital
or DTS). It’s also used to select the multichannel
area, 2-channel area, or CD layer on SACDs.

This button is used to select different camera angles.

Fast Forward [

This button is used to start fast forward.

Fast Reverse [

] button (31)

This button is used to start fast reverse.

DISC 1–6 buttons (24)
These buttons are used to select discs. Playback
starts automatically when discs are selected with
these buttons.

DISC SKIP button (23, 24)
This button is used to select the disc bays (i.e., rotate
the disc tray) when loading or removing discs, and
to select discs for playback.

MEMORY button (29, 38)
This button is used with the Memory function.

OPEN/CLOSE [

This button is used to open and close the disc tray.

CHAIN MODE button (34)
This button is used with the Chain mode function.

REPEAT button (35)
This button is used to set the Repeat functions.

A–B button (36)
This button is used to set the A–B Repeat function.

This button is used with the Random function.

DISPLAY button (42)
This button is used to display information about the
current disc, title, chapter, group, or track, including
the elapsed time, remaining time, total time, and so
on.

This button is used to cancel functions and to clear
entered numbers.

This button is used to show DVD menus.

ENTER button (21)
This button is used to start playback of the selected
title chapter, group, or track and to confirm settings.

Arrow [ ], [ ], [ ], [ ] buttons (21)
These buttons are used to navigate onscreen menus.

SETUP button (48)
This button is used to open and close the onscreen
setup menus.

SUBTITLE button (41)
This button is used to select subtitles.

This button is used to start playback.

These buttons are used for frame-by-frame play-
back and slow-motion playback.

DIMMER button (32)

This button is used to adjust the display brightness.

PROGRESSIVE button (41)

This button is used to turn on and off progressive
scanning. Progressive scanning can’t be turned on
or off during playback.
