PLAYING A MP3 DISC

When a CD with MP3 files is in the unit, press the
DISC MENU button to call up the file list.

In stop mode, press the Arrow button (

to select the desired group or track.

If a group is selected, press
the Arrow button

or the

ENTER button to go on to
the track selection screen.
Press the Arrow button (

K

to choose a track, then press
the ENTER button.

If a track is selected, press the ENTER button to start
playing tracks. Starting from the one you’ve just
chosen the subsequent tracks will be played.

¡

Press the TITLE button to return to the first item.

Press the STOP button to stop playback.

NOTES:

¡

Folders are known as Groups; files are known as
Tracks.

¡

MP3 files are accompanied by

icon.

¡

Maximum of 255 folders can be recognized.

¡

Maximum of 512 files can be recognized.

¡

Up to 8 hierarchies can be created.

This unit recommends the use of files recorded at the
below specifications:

¡

Sampling frequency: 44.1kHz or 48kHz

¡

Constant bit rate: 112kbps ~ 320kbps.

In stop mode, press the MODE button twice.

RANDOM screen appears.

Press the PLAY button to start random play-
back.

MP3

This feature allows you to program an MP3 disc to
play in a desired sequence.

In stop mode, press the MODE button.

The PROGRAM screen will appear.

Select a desired track using the Arrow but-
ton (

K

L

/s/B

). Then, press the ENTER

button.

Press the Arrow button

when you want to go to

the next hierarchy.

Press the Arrow button

when you want to go back

to the previous hierarchy.

Press the CLEAR button to erase the most recently
entered program.

Repeat step [2] until you have selected all
the Tracks you want to play in the program.

Press the PLAY button to start programmed
playback.

NOTES:

¡

While the program is being played back, the STOP
button as follows.

¡

Press the STOP button once and then the PLAY but-
ton again, playback will restart from the point where
the STOP button was pressed. (Program continued)

¡

Press the STOP button twice and then the PLAY but-
ton again, playback will restart from the track in the
usual way. (Program cleared)

¡

To erase all tracks in the program at once, select
ALL CLEAR at the bottom of the list at Step [2].

REPEAT

To activate the repeat function, press the
REPEAT button during playback.

The repeat mode changes as described below every
time you press the button.

REPEAT is available only during playback.
