2. Press the battery compartment cover’s tab in the
direction of the arrow. The cover pops open.
3. Install the batteries as indicated by the polarity sym-
bols (+ and –) marked inside cover.
4. Close the battery compartment cover and the cas-
sette compartment’s door and cover.
If the sound gets distorted or weak, be sure the SCP-85
is turned off and replace the batteries.
Notes:
• To remove the batteries, push the exposed battery in
the indicated location.
