Slide the cover of the remote control unit down
until the battery compartment appears.

Insert two AA size batteries, making sure that
their polarities should match the symbols shown
inside the battery casing.

Slide and close the cover of the remote control
unit.
NOTE
• Do not insert old and new batteries mixed together.
• Do not insert different brands or types of batteries
mixed together.
• Always insert new batteries for replacement.
Operate the remote control within 30-degree angle
on both sides of the infrared sensor on the main
unit. You can operate the remote control from a dis-
tance of several feet away from the main unit.
NOTE:
Other devices that use infrared beams, sunlight, fluores-
cent lights may affect the range and effectiveness of the
remote control. Make sure that this unit should be posi-
tioned where there is the minimum interference from
other devices.
