This function allows you to switch the
s (scene mode) according to the subject.

Press the K/h/ s button repeatedly to select the s mode.

12 to select a scene mode, and press o.

s (Scene) Modes
& This mode lets you take pictures as close as 20 cm/8 in. to your subject (when the
optical zoom is at the greatest wide-angle).
% Use this mode to take pictures as close as 7 cm/2.7 in. to your subject. In % mode,
the position of the zoom lens is fixed.
