Installation procedure
The cooktop comes with a front heat shield, and two side heat shields. For safety
reasons, the heat shields must be properly installed. This prevents some
components from overheating, avoiding the recirculation of hot air from the
cooktop.
The front heat shield is the same width as the cooktop.
For shipping, the shields are screwed to the burner box.
After unwrapping the cooktop, unscrew the two screws (see image).
Remove the three heat shields from the burner box.
