The USA-49WG is easy to use. Its DB9 serial ports are seen as COM ports by your computer, and are available for use by any program that
accesses COM ports. It provides a simple way to add serial ports to a PC without the hassle of installing a serial card, turning off the PC or
configuring IRQs.
Bus Powered
There’s no need for an external power adapter! The USA-49WG draws power directly from your computer via the USB connection.
High-Speed Data Transfer
The USA-49WG’s DB9 serial ports support data transfer rates up to 460 Kbps—four times the speed of a standard built-in serial port.
LED Indicators
Five LEDs (one red, four green) display the status of the USA-49WG’s USB and DB9 ports. You can tell at a glance if the Adapter is connected to the
computer, if the Adapter hardware and software are working properly, and which serial ports are currently in use.
