location from which screws are removed
since different screw lengths may be used
to secure the cover.

CAUTION

It is not safe to operate TAG servers
without the cover in place. Failure to take
this precaution may result in personal
injury and system damage.

5.8 Adding or Replacing System Memory

This section lists the procedures for adding or
replacing system memory.

WARNING

Ensure that the system is powered-down
and all power sources have been
disconnected from the server prior to
removing or replacing system memory.
Failure to do so could result in serious
injury from electrical shock.

CAUTION

Printed circuit boards and hard drives
contain electronic components that are
extremely sensitive to static electricity.
Ordinary amounts of static from your
clothes or the work
environment can
destroy components. Do not touch the
components or any

metal parts without taking

proper antistatic precautions.
