Activating Device Lock
To activate Device Lock:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select More... > Security > Device Lock.
3. Tick the Prompt if device unused for
checkbox, and select how long your device
can be left idle before a password is required.
4. Select a password type.
5. Enter and confirm a password.
6. Press Done.
7. Press Yes to confirm the changes.
Deactivating Device Lock
To deactivate Device Lock:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select More... > Security > Device Lock.
3. Enter the Device Lock password, then press
Unlock.
4. Untick the Prompt if device unused for
checkbox, then press Done.
5. Press Yes to confirm the changes.
Enabling SIM PIN
To enable SIM PIN:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select More... > Security > Enable SIM PIN.
3. Enter the SIM PIN, then press Done.
Disabling SIM PIN
To disable SIM PIN:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select More... > Security > Disable SIM
PIN.
NOTE: Emergency calls can be placed at
any time, without requiring deactivation of
any security feature first.
NOTE: Please make a note of the
password.

know the SIM PIN. This is provided with
your SIM card.
