Volume control

You can access the phone sound volume and

ringer/call volume settings by tapping the ringer icon

on the title bar.
Volume control has the following settings:

• Phone sound volume - 6 levels.
• Ringer/call volume - 6 levels.
• Both phone volume and ringer/call volume can

be set to On, Vibrate or Off.

You can also change the volume settings by

pressing the Volume keys.

Reassigning button functions

There are already applications assigned to the

hardware buttons. However, you may want to

change some assignments to applications that you

use more frequently.
To reassign a button:

1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Buttons. On the

Program Buttons tab, a list of buttons and their

assigned application is displayed.

3. Tap a button to reassign.
4. In the 2. Assign a program: field, select an

application for this button.

5. Tap ok.

Input method settings

For details of changing the input method settings,

refer to the Text input section.

TIP: An icon represents the original function

of a button. This helps you to identify a button

and restore its default.
