The API is enabled by default and must
stay enabled in the following cases:

If integration with TMS is required
If the Content Server will be added
to a Cluster. In this case the API
password must be the same on all
Content Servers being added to the
cluster
If the API is used for customized
integration with other systems. Refer
to the TANDBERG Content Server
API Documentation for details of
available API calls.

Administrator Settings > Site Settings

The default API password at in-
stall is

TANDBERG

. It is strongly

recommended that you change
this password if you want the

API to remain enabled. If you clear the
password and the password field is
empty, API clients will not receive an
authentication challenge.
