4. Measure accurately for successful breadmaker bread loaves. Mismeasuring, even

slightly, can make a big difference in your results. Measure each ingredient precisely
before placing it into the bread pan.

To measure liquids, use a see-through glass or
plastic liquid measuring cup.
Read the measurement at e ye level.

To measure flour, spoon into a standard dry
ingredient measuring cup and level with a
straight-edged knife or metal spatula.

Use standard measuring spoons and level with
a straight-edged knife or metal spatula.

5. Measure and add ingredients in the order given in the recipe. Once all ingredients

h ave been add e d , r e ch e ck the recipe to be sure each one was used, and in the
correct quantity and order.

The correct order of adding ingredients is:
1. Water and other liquids (including eggs)

2. Oil, sugar, salt, etc.
3. Flour and dried fruits
4. Active dry yeast

IMPORTANT: When using the Delayed Finish feature, please pay special attention to the order

of the ingredients. When adding the dry yeast, make a hollow depression in the
mound of flour and pour the dry yeast into it.Do not let the yeast touch the water
or the dough may not rise properly.

6 . Place the bread pan into the inner case.

Wipe off any moisture from the outer side of the bread pan before placing it into
the inner case.

upper rim of the bread pan is fa c i n g
t oward the front of the breadmake r.
Push down on rim until bread pan locks into place.
Unless the bread pan is securely placed inside the
b r e a d m a ke r, the bread will not be baked correctly.
