Lesson 11: Setting the date and time
You initially set the computer’s date and time properties
when you turned the computer on for the first time and set up
the operating system.
To change the date and time settings:
1 Click Start, Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.
2 Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options.
3 Click one of the following:
❖ Change the date and time in the Pick a Task
section
❖ Date and Time in the or pick a Control Panel icon
section
The Date and Time Properties window appears.

HINT: To open the Date and Time Properties window more quickly,
either click the time display on the taskbar with the secondary
button, then click Adjust Date/Time, or double-click the time
display.
