46 Camcorder Settings
Settings Menu
Format
The options in the format menu are:
Yes: Format the built-in memory (When there is no SD™ card in
the camcorder), or SD Card (When there is an SD card in the
camcorder).
No: Do not format the built-in memory (When there is no SD card
in the camcorder), or SD Card (When there is an SD card inserted
into the camcorder).
All data will be erased if the SD card is formatted. Make sure all data
is copied to your computer or other media before formatting the
SD Card.
Operation Screen
1 In the Setting submenu, use the Up/Down
button to select Format. Then press the
Right button to enter the confirmation
screen.
2 Use the Right/Left buttons to choose Yes
or No.
3 Choosing Yes performs the operation, and
No cancels the operation.
4 Press the OK button to confirm the setting,
or press the Playback button to cancel
without making any changes.
