BASIC OPERATIONS

SET TIME-DATE

1. Press MODE until Time display appears.

2. Press SET. Seconds will flash. Press START/STOP to set to 00.

3. Press MODE. Second digit of minutes will flash. Press START/STOP to advance.

4. Press MODE. First digit of minutes will flash. Press START/STOP to advance.

5. Press MODE. Hour (with A/P) will flash. Press START/STOP to advance. Press SPLIT/RESET to

switch between 12- and 24-hour format.

6. Press MODE to continue setting month, date, day of week.

7. Press SET to exit at any time.

In Time display, press START/STOP to turn hourly chime on/off. Colon will flash when on.

ALARM

1. Press MODE until “ALARM” appears in upper left of display. Alarm time appears at top of display.

2. Press SET. Hour will flash. Press START/STOP to advance.

3. Press MODE. First digit of minutes will flash. Press START/STOP to advance.

4. Press MODE. Second digit of minutes will flash. Press START/STOP to advance.

5. Press SET to exit at any time. Alarm is automatically armed.

When alarm is armed,

appears here and in Time display.

In Alarm mode, press START/STOP to arm/disarm alarm.

When alarm sounds, press any button to silence. Alarm remains armed and will continue to
occur daily.

CHRONOGRAPH

1. Press MODE until “CHR” appears.

2. Press START/STOP to start chrono.

3. Press START/STOP to stop. Press again to continue.

4. When chrono is stopped, press SPLIT/RESET to reset chrono to zero.

Taking Splits

While the chrono is running, you may freeze the display, to see your time at a particular point.
This is called “taking a split.” To take a split, press SPLIT/RESET while the chrono is running.
“SPLIT” appears and the display will freeze for ten seconds before showing the running chrono
again. You may skip the ten-second freeze by pressing MODE.

If you exit Chrono mode with the chrono running, it will continue to run. In the Time display,
“CHR” will flash.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT

Press INDIGLO (SPLIT/RESET) when time of day or alarm time is displayed (but not while setting)
to activate night-light.

Electroluminescent technol-

ogy used in INDIGLO® night-light illuminates entire watch face at night and in low-light condi-
tions. Release INDIGLO to turn light off.

If your watch is water-resistant, meter marking or (

WATER RESISTANCE

1. Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and case remain intact.
2. Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

1. Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à ce que l’heure s’affiche.

2. Appuyer sur SET. Les chiffres des secondes clignotent. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour la

remettre à 00.

3. Appuyer sur MODE. Le second chiffre des minutes clignote. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour

faire avancer les chiffres.

4. Appuyer sur MODE. Le premier chiffre des minutes clignote. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour

faire avancer les chiffres.

5. Appuyer sur MODE. Les chiffres des heures (avec A/P) clignotent. Appuyer sur START/STOP

pour faire avancer les chiffres. Appuyer sur SPLIT/RESET pour alterner entre l’affichage de 12
heures et celui de 24 heures.

6. Appuyer sur MODE pour continuer à régler le mois, la date, le jour de la semaine.

7. Appuyer sur SET à tout moment pour quitter un mode.

Dans l’affichage de l’heure, appuyer sur START/STOP pour activer/désactiver le carillon horaire.
Les deux-points clignotent lorsqu’il est activé.

ALARME

1. Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à ce que « ALARM » s’affiche dans le coin supérieur gauche.

L’heure de l’alarme apparaît dans la partie supérieure de l’affichage.

2. Appuyer sur SET. Les chiffres des heures clignotent. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour faire

avancer les chiffres.

3. Appuyer sur MODE. Le premier chiffre des minutes clignote. Appuyer START/STOP pour faire

avancer les chiffres.

4. Appuyer sur MODE. Le second chiffre des minutes clignote. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour

faire avancer les chiffres.

5. Appuyer sur SET à tout moment pour quitter un mode. L’alarme est automatiquement activée.

Lorsque l’alarme est activée,

s’affiche ici dans l’affichage de l’heure.

En mode Alarm, appuyer sur START/STOP pour activer/désactiver l’alarme.

Lorsque l’alarme se déclenche, appuyer sur n’importe quel bouton pour la couper. L’alarme
reste activée et se déclenchera chaque jour.

CHRONOGRAPHE

1. Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à ce que « CHR » s’affiche.

2. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour commencer le chronométrage.

3. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour l’arrêter. Appuyer de nouveau pour le reprendre.

4. Une fois le chronographe arrêté, appuyer sur SPLIT/RESET pour remettre l’affichage à zéro.

Mesure du temps intermédiaire

Lorsque le chronographe est en marche, il est possible de figer l’affichage, pour voir un temps
à un point donné. C’est ce qu’on appelle « mesure du temps intermédiaire ». Pour mesurer le
temps intermédiaire, appuyer sur SPLIT/RESET pendant que le chronographe est en marche.
« SPLIT » s’affiche et l’affichage fige pendant dix secondes avant d’afficher à nouveau la
marche du chronomètre. On peut omettre cet arrêt de dix secondes en appuyant sur MODE.

Si on quitte le mode Chrono alors que le chronomètre est en marche, celui-ci reste en marche
et « CHR » clignote dans l’affichage de l’heure.

VEILLEUSE INDIGLO®

Appuyer sur INDIGLO (SPLIT/RESET) quand l’heure ou l’heure de l’alarme est affichée (mais non
pendant le réglage) pour activer l’éclairage. La technologie électroluminescente
utilisée dans la veilleuse INDIGLO® permet d’illu-
miner toute la face de la montre la nuit et dans des conditions de faible éclairage. Relâcher
INDIGLO pour désactiver l’éclairage.

Si la montre est étanche, la profondeur maximale ou le symbole (

) est indiqué.

MISE EN GARDE : POUR PRÉSERVER L’ÉTANCHÉITÉ, NE PAS ENFONCER LES BOUTONS
SOUS L’EAU.

1. La montre est étanche aussi longtemps que le verre, les boutons et le boîtier sont intacts.
2. La montre n’est pas conçue pour la plongée. Ne pas l’utiliser dans ces conditions.
3. Rincer à l’eau douce après tout contact avec l’eau de mer.

PILE

Timex recommande fortement de faire changer la pile par un détaillant ou un bijoutier.
Le cas échéant, appuyer sur le bouton de remise à zéro lors du changement de la pile. Le type
de pile est indiqué sur le dos du boîtier. L’estimation de la durée de service de la pile est basée
sur certaines hypothèses quant à l’usage ; la durée réelle peut varier selon l’utilisation de la
montre.

LA PORTÉE DES ENFANTS.

CÓMO FIJAR FECHA Y HORA

1. Apriete MODE hasta que aparezca el modo horario.

2. Apriete SET. La cifra de los segundos parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP para dejarla en 00.

3. Apriete MODE. La segunda cifra de los minutos parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP

para avanzar.

4. Apriete MODE. La primera cifra de los minutos parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP

para avanzar.

5. Apriete MODE. La hora (con A/P) parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP para avanzar.

Apriete SPLIT/RESET para cambiar entre el formato de 12 y 24 horas.

6. Apriete MODE para continuar fijando el mes, fecha, día de la semana.

7. Apriete SET para salir en cualquier momento.

En modo horario, apriete START/STOP para activar o desactivar la campana horaria.
Los dos puntos parpadearán cuando se active.

ALARMA

1. Apriete MODE hasta que “ALARM” aparezca a la izquierda de la pantalla. La hora

de la alarma aparece en la parte superior de la pantalla.

2. Apriete SET. La cifra de la hora parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP para avanzar.

3. Apriete MODE. La primera cifra de los minutos parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP

para avanzar.

4. Apriete MODE. La segunda cifra de los minutos parpadeará. Apriete START/STOP

para avanzar.

5. Apriete SET para salir en cualquier momento. La alarma queda automáticamente activada.

Cuando la alarma está activada,

aparece aquí y en el modo horario.

En la modalidad de alarma, apriete START/STOP para activar o desactivar la alarma.

Cuando suene la alarma, apriete cualquier botón para apagarla. Ésta permanecerá activada
y continuará funcionando diariamente.

CRONÓGRAFO

1. Apriete MODE hasta que “CHR” aparezca.

2. Apriete START/STOP para poner en marcha el cronógrafo.

3. Apriete START/STOP para detener. Apriete de nuevo para continuar.

4. Cuando el cronógrafo esté detenido, apriete SPLIT/RESET para volverlo a cero.

Tomando fracciones

Mientras el cronógrafo está funcionando, usted puede congelar la pantalla para ver su tiempo
en un punto determinado. A ésto se llama “taking a split” (tomando una fracción). Para tomar
una fracción, apriete SPLIT/RESET mientras funciona el crono. “SPLIT” aparece y la pantalla se
congela por diez segundos antes de mostrar de nuevo el crono en marcha. Usted puede omitir
que se congele los 10 segundos apretando MODE.

Si usted sale de la modalidad crono con el cronógrafo en marcha, éste seguirá funcionando.
En la modalidad horaria “CHR” parpadeará.

LUZ NOCTURNA INDIGLO®

Apriete INDIGLO (SPLIT/RESET) cuando la hora del día o de la alarma aparece (pero no mientras
la esté ajustando) para activar la luz nocturna. La tecnología electroluminiscente
y utilizada por la luz nocturna INDIGLO® ilumina
toda la cara del reloj por la noche y en condiciones de poca luz.
Suelte INDIGLO para apagar la luz.

Si su reloj es resistente al agua se indicará con el símbolo (

) o un marcador de profundidad.
