Connecting to the Network
This section describes how to connect this equipment to a network.
y The 10BASE-T cable and the 100BASE-TX cable are not included in the accessories.
Obtain the ones compatible with the network you are utilizing.
y The Scanner Upgrade Kit (optional) and the Network Printer Kit (optional) use the same net-
work interface connector, so procedures for connecting this equipment and the network for
the both options are also the same.

After the Scanner Upgrade Kit has been installed, insert
the10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX cable into the network interface con-
nector on the rear side of this equipment.

Turn ON the power of this equipment.
