SAFETY MEASURES
Before operating the unit, read all the in-
structions carefully and pay attention to the
illustrations.
• Before connecting the iron to the electric

network set the power supply switch in
correspondence with the voltage of the
electric network. After usage of the iron
with network voltage 120 V always set the
switch to the 240 V position, it will prevent
malfunction of the iron while connecting
the iron to the electric network with the
increased voltage.

• Do not connect the iron to the outlets, in-

tended for electric shavers (in long-dis-
tance trains).

• Before connecting the unit to the net-

work, unwind the power cord complete-
ly.

• The power cord is equipped with a euro

plug; connect it to the socket with a se-
cure grounding.

• In order to avoid risk of fire do not use

adapters while connecting the appliance
to the outlet.

• In order to avoid overloading of the elec-

tric network, do not switch on simultane-

ously several appliances with high power
consumption.

• Use the unit only for the intended pur-

poses, specified in this manual.

• Do not use the unit outdoors.
• Place the iron on a flat stable surface or

use the ironing board.

• Never leave the operating unit unattend-

ed.

• Always unplug the unit, if you do not use

it.

• Always unplug the unit when filling the

water tank with water.

• The filling opening should be closed dur-

ing the ironing.

• Do not fill the water tank with scented liq-

uids, vinegar, starch solution, descaling
reagents, chemical agents etc.

• Provide that open parts of your skin do

not contact hot surfaces or outgoing
steam of the iron in order to avoid getting
burns.

• Provide that the power cord is not hang-

ing over the edge of the ironing board
and make sure that it does not touch hot
surfaces.

• Before plugging/unplugging the unit,

set the temperature control to the “min”
position, and the constant steam supply
button to the upper position (steam sup-
ply is off).

• To unplug the unit always take the plug,

do not pull the power cord.

• In order to avoid electric shock, do not

immerse the unit into water or other liq-
uids.

• Before taking the unit away for keeping,

pour out the remaining water and let the
unit cool down.

• Do not use the unit, if the plug or the

power cord is damaged or if there are
other damages in the unit.

• Never use the unit after it fell down, if

there are visible damages in the unit or in
case of water leakage.

• In order to avoid electric shock do not re-
