Detaching the battery pack

Turn the player off.

Disconnect all cables and cords from the player.

Turn the player upside down.

Slide the battery pack’s lock switch in the
direction of the arrow

, then slide the battery

pack in the direction of the arrow

it.

Attach the connector cover on the bottom of the
player.

Important
• After detaching the battery pack, be sure to attach the

battery cover in order to avoid a short-circuiting which
may be caused by contact with metal objects to the
connector.

• Do not detach the battery pack while the POWER

indicator illuminates in green or orange.

About battery pack life

Battery pack has a limited service life. The length
of service life varies depending on product use and
user settings. If you use the battery pack beyond
its service life, you may notice that playback time
becomes remarkably shorter, even if the battery pack
is fully charged. If you notice that playback time has
become remarkably shorter, even when the battery
pack is fully charged, it is recommended that you
replace the battery pack with battery pack model
number SD-PBP70EL.
