Target Zone Settings

Use target zones to keep your heart rate and speed within a
defined set of limits during your workout.

• Heart Rate Target Zone. Go to Configure Mode, and select “HRM

Settings.” You will then see your current target zone and alert
settings. You can quickly select a target zone by pressing the
START/SPLIT (

+

) button (see “Quick-Set” Option Settings” on

page 19). Press

SET/FORMAT (SELECT) to enter the setting pro-

cedure to set MANUAL zone limits (if desired) and to change
the out-of-zone alert settings.

• Speed/Pace Zone. Go to Configure Mode, and select “S + D

Settings.” As with the heart rate settings, you will see the cur-
rent settings for your Speed/Pace Zone. Press

SET/FORMAT

(SELECT) to begin the setting procedure, or press

START/SPLIT

(

+

) quickly change the out-of-zone alert setting.

Time of Day Mode

Your Timex® watch will display time, date and day of week for
two time zones. Each time zone is kept synchronized to highly
accurate UTC time (also known as Greenwich Mean Time) when
you use the Speed + Distance Sensor and can be displayed in 12-
or 24-hour format.
