Fast Start
Charging the Battery
1. Plug the charger into a
wall outlet.
2. Plug the charger jack into
the PCD2000A.
3. If you have the PCD1087
extended life battery, charge
the battery for 6 hours.
Otherwise, charge the cellular
battery for 5 hours.
Battery Alarm
A Battery Warning Tone sounds when the battery charge is low. The battery icon flashes and
RECHARGE BATTERY displays on the LCD.
