Installing the ReadyLight Battery
1.
Using a Philips head screwdriver, unscrew the

battery compartment door on the side of the
ReadyLight and carefully remove the side panel.

2. Locate the connector on the battery and locate

the connector in the battery compartment.

3. Push the two halves of the connector together.

Ensure that the connector is oriented properly,
otherwise the ReadyLight will fail to operate and
damage to the fl ashlight may occur.

4. Insert the battery pack into the fl ashlight.
5. Attach the battery compartment panel and

tighten the screw securely. Do not over tighten the screw.

Replacing the ReadyLight Battery
1.
Use a Philips head screwdriver to unscrew the battery compartment door

on the side of the ReadyLight and carefully remove the side panel.

2. Locate the connector to the battery. While holding both sides of the

connector, carefully pull them apart.

3. Repeat the installation steps above to insert a new battery.
When replacing batteries, please ensure that you use only a Verilux

®

ReadyLight Replaceable Battery Pack.
To charge the battery pack, place the ReadyLight in an area with direct
sunlight. Unit will be fully charged after 10 hours, but you may use the
fl ashlight at anytime.
This product contains NiMH batteries. Do not discard in the garbage. Dispose
of in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. To fi nd
a recycling location, please go to http://www.call2recycle.org/.
