The following options are available in the Parental menu:
1. Ratings Enable – This option allows blocking
channels based on the ratings established by
regulations.
2.
Channel Locks – This option allows blocking
channels no matter what content.
3.
USA - TV –
This option allows blocking of selected TV
or Cable channels based on ratings established for US
broadcasts. Select the desired rating and press
MENU/OK to block (lock) or unblock (unlock).
TV Rating Definitions:
TV Rating Content Definitions
Y – All children
Y7 – Older children
G – General audience
PG – Guidance suggested
14 – Strongly cautioned
MA – Mature audience
A – All subratings
D – Sexual dialog
L – Adult language
S – Sexual situations
V - Violence
FV – Fantasy violence
