I cannot dial out.
• Make sure there s a dal tone before dalng on the
HOME lne. It s normal f the handset takes
a second or two to synchronze wth the telephone before producng a dal tone. Wat an extra
second before dalng.
• If the other telephones n your home are havng the same problem, the problem s n the wrng
or local servce. Contact your local telephone company (charges may apply).
• Elmnate any background nose. Nose from a televson, rado, or other applances may cause
the telephone to not dial out properly. If you cannot eliminate the background noise, first try
mutng the cordless handset before dalng, or dalng from another room n your home wth less
background nose.
