• If your modem has difficulty operating, verify the modem settings. In the exam-
ple below we have entered only the pertinent information. To access this screen,
simply open the hard drive and go into the MacComCenter folder. Click on the
“MCC Terminal” icon. Once it is open, go into “Setup/Modem” and verify the fol-
lowing settings.
CONNECTION SCRIPTS (Mac OS 7.6 or Later):
1. Copy the “Viking 56k/V.90 Modem” script to the “Modem Scripts” folder, in the
“Extensions” folder.
2. To access it, go to the “Control Panel” and select “Modem.” Then select “Viking
56K/V.90Modem.”
3. Close out of the “Modem Script Control Panel” and select “Save.”
