BATTERY BACK-UP SUPPLY

INTRODUCTION

These instructions contain the specifications and
information necessary to install, operate, and maintain
the VPB-260, Battery Back-up Power Supply.

SPECIFICATIONS

The VPB-260 provides a battery source to permit
system operation in the event of an AC power failure.

Features

12 and 24 volt DC outputs

Outputs fused at 3 amps

AC input fuse protected

Power on LED indication

Full current limiting on battery charger

Long life Gel Cell Batteries

Battery test switch with light indication

Capacity

Table 1 shows the approximate times for a fully
charged supply to reach 90% voltage under different
load conditions.

NOTE: All electronic key systems will begin to
operate intermittently below a certain input voltage.
Typically reliable operation will be maintained to
90% of full voltage.
