Whole Grain Waffles
1½ cups Reduced Fat milk
¾ cup All-purpose Flour
½ cup Quick-cooking Oats
½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 large Egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
3 tsp. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Salt
1. In a large bowl, mix together flours, oats, baking powder and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, stir together milk, vegetable oil and egg.
3. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until large lumps disappear. Don't
over mix.
4. Pour about ¾ cup of waffle batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook
until steam no longer escapes and the waffle is golden brown.
