2. On

the

PPP Connections window of the WebShare Home Page, click New… The Configure

Account window appears.

3. In

the

Description field, type the Account Description you have chosen to call this connection.

4. In

the

User ID field, type the user ID given to you by your service provider.

5. Click

Save. The new account will now appear in the PPP Connections window.

5.1.1 Setting or Verifying VPI/VCI Parameters

Your service provider will provide you with a VPI (Virtual Path Indicator) and VCI (Virtual Channel Indicator)
which are path assignments for your ADSL connection. WebShare defaults to VPI = 0 and VCI = 35. To verify
your VPI/VCI settings, select LAN Advanced from the WebShare Home Page Menu.

The WebShare LAN Advanced Configuration window (Figure 15) displays the current configuration settings.

If the information in the fields for the VPI and VCI agree with what your service provider provides, click Cancel,
otherwise enter the correct information and click Save.
