RUNNING IN THE ENGINE

not use the hedge-trimmer at
maximum power for long periods.

ADJUSTING IDLING SPEED

• Before adjusting the carburetor,

clean the air filter and warm up
the engine. (F5)

• Idle screw is adjusted in order to

ensure a good safety margin
between idle running and clutch
engagement. (F6)

(2) Idle screw

With the engine idling (3000 rpm),
the blade should not rotate. We
recommend that you have the
dealer or an authorised mechanic
carry out any carburetor
adjustments.

CUTTING WORK

• Weather conditions and altitude

may effect carburation.

• Do not allow anyone to stay

close to the hedge-trimmer
while working or while
adjusting the carburetor.
