6 In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box,
select Obtain an IP address automatically, and Obtain
DNS server address automatically. Click OK to enable your
settings.

The Local Area Connection Properties dialog box from
Step 3 is displayed again. Click OK.

If prompted, insert the Windows 2000 CD in your CD-ROM
drive and click OK. Otherwise, in the Network and Dial-Up
Connections window, click to close.

If prompted, restart the computer.
You have configured your network settings successfully. Now
proceed to Chapter 2, Configuring Your Browser, on page 19.
