2 Half load button

Select this button to reduce water consumption on the
rinse cycle when washing a smaller load of cottons or
linens (maximum load size = 2.25 kg).
The machine will carry out 3 rinses instead of 4.

3 Rinse hold button

Press this button to make the machine stop with water in
the drum after the synthetic or delicate wash cycles.
This prevents any creasing which may take place if the
clothes are left damp in the drum. When it is convenient
for you to empty the machine, simply press this button
again so that the machine can proceed to drain and
spin, or turn the dial to the drain programme "P".
If this button is not activated, the washing programmes
will end with a short spin.
Do not press this button for woollens: wool items should
be gently spun.

4 Spin speed reduction button

By depressing this button the spin speed is reduced as
follows:

• for cotton, linen and programme «F» from 800 to 450
rpm for FL850-FL850AL and from 1000 to 500 rpm for
FL1085-FL1085AL

• for synthetics, delicates, wool and programme «N»
from 600 to 500 rpm for all models.

5 Economy button

By depressing this button prior to selecting wash pro-
grammes B, C and G you will obtain a reduction of the
wash temperature from 95°C to 60°C and from 50°/60°C
to 40°C . The duration of the programme will not alter.
This will ensure a substantial saving in electricity con-
sumption. It is advisable to use Economy when washing
fabrics which are lightly soiled.

6 Quick’n’Clean selector dial

Turn the dial anticlockwise or clockwise to decrease or
increase the total wash time, according to the degree of
soiling. You may decrease the wash time in four equal
increments and increase the wash time in three equal
increments up to the maximums shown in the chart on
page 10.

NORMAL - Normally soiled garments

QUICK WASH - Reduces time for lightly soiled garments

SUPER WASH - Increases time for heavy soiled gar-
ments

This option can be used on programmes A, B, C, D and
G.

7 Mains-on light

This light illuminates when the machine starts working
and goes out at the end of the programme.

8 Programme selector dial

With the programme selector dial you choose the desi-
red washing programme.
Turn it clockwise.

To start the programme, pull the dial outwards.
To switch the machine off, push the dial inwards.
