For optimal reception of XM’s live satellite
signal, your Xpress

R

antenna should have

an unobstructed view of the XM satellites
in the southern sky. In large cities, XM also
has a network of ground repeaters to help
increase the signal coverage.

Your Xpress

R

can help you aim the antenna to pull in the strongest possible signal.

1. Press the Menu button, scroll to Antenna Aiming

2. Slowly turn and tilt the antenna. The “Satellite” and “Terrestrial” signal bars will

change. Find the position that gives the strongest signal strength on either “Satellite”
or “Terrestrial.”

3. The antenna aiming display remains as long as it’s needed to help you position the

antenna. When you’ve found the best position, press the “menu” button or left toggle
repeatedly to exit the menu.

4. Select XM channel 1. You should be able to listen to the XM Preview Channel.
