This chapter discusses the system password and RADIUS authentication.
The first step towards ensuring security is changing your system password from the default value to your personal
password.
12.1 Changing the System Password
To change the system password, following steps below:
Step 1. Select option 23. System Security in the Main Menu to open Menu 23 - System Security as shown in
Figure 12-1.

Step 2. From the System Security Menu, select option 1. Change Password to open Menu 23.1 - System
Security - Change Password.
Step 3. Enter your existing system password and press [ENTER].

Step 4. Enter your new system password and press [ENTER].
Step 5. Re-type your new system password for confirmation and press [ENTER].
As you enter the password, the screen displays an (*) for each character you type.
