Setting Up The CRW2100SX Drive
There are three stages to setting up your CRW2100SX drive.
● Installing a SCSI card
You will need to open the casing of your computer and insert a SCSI card
(sold separately) if one has not been installed already.
n You will need a Phillips screwdriver to open the casing of the computer and to
secure the SCSI card in its slot.
n For details about how to install the SCSI card, refer to the documentation that came
with it and your computer.
● Connecting the drive
You will need to connect your CRW2100SX drive to your computer’s SCSI
card using a SCSI cable. You will also need to connect the included power
cable between the drive and an electrical outlet.
● Verifying the Hardware Installation
Before you can begin using your CRW2100SX drive, you need to verify that it
has been installed and recognized correctly.
