Cappuccino Preparation

Cappuccino is espresso coffee with thick milk froth. To prepare

cappuccino, you should first prepare espresso. Therefore, use the
amount of water required for preparation of espresso plus a suf-
ficient amount of water for generation of steam for cappuccino.
1. To froth milk for cappuccino, you should first remove water

from the cappuccino tube (6). Place a suitable container un-
der the cappuccino tube (6). Turn the operating mode switch
(3) to the “steam” position and wait until water stops running
from the tube. Turn the operating mode switch (3) to the “O”
position.

2. Fill the container with milk by a third. The milk and the con-

tainer must be cold. Place the container with the milk under the
cappuccino tube (6) and immerse its rubber tip into the milk.
Turn the operating mode switch (3) to the “steam” position.
Carefully move the milk container with circular motions. The tip
of the cappuccino tube (6) must not touch the bottom of the
milk container as it may prevent the steam release.

3. After enough froth has been generated, turn the operating

mode switch (3) to the “O” position.

4. Using a spoon, put the milk froth produced into the cup where

espresso is contained.
