Notes on Shooting
Use the hood when shooting a backlit
subject.
Edges of pictures may be cut off if more than
one fi lter is used or if a thick fi lter is used.
Features
The 14 – 42 mm is a lens with high imaging
capability, designed exclusively for use with
Olympus FOUR THIRDS single-lens-refl ex
digital cameras.

Standard zoom lens equivalent to a
28 – 84 mm zoom lens on a 35 mm fi lm
camera.
Zoom lens with 10 elements in 8 groups
including two aspherical elements.
Inner focusing system enables you to shoot
from 0.25 m (1.0 in.), the minimum focusing
distance, at all focal length.
Can be used with the optional EC-14 tele-
converter in manual focusing (MF) mode.
Can be used with the optional EX-25
extension tube under the following conditions:
