Creating Relations
Workflow
When creating contacts and users, you always have to proceed in the following order:
1. Create a company.
2. Create a department for a company.
3. Create a contact.
4. Turn the contact into a user.
Creating a Company
To create a new company, proceed as follows:
1. Open the Relations pane.
2. In the Company Data area, click the New button
.
3. In the Company Name field, enter the name of the new company.
4. Click the Save button to save the new company.
Creating a Department
Each company can consist of one or more departments. To create a new department for a
company, proceed as follows:
1. Open the Relations pane.
2. In the Companies area, search and select the company you want to create a new
department for, or create a new company first.
3. Open the Departments tab.
The names of the existing departments are displayed under the Company field.
