RS422 Protocols Settings
Introduction
The RS422 Protocols settings allow specifying the settings related to the clip
identification used to access the video clips.
These fields are available in the following interfaces:

in the Multicam Configuration window, Protocol tab, on page 1 in the basic and
advanced display mode in the server- and web-based interfaces.
The following screenshot presents page 1 of the Protocol tab in the server-based
application and highlights the RS422 Protocols settings area.
Id Type
Description
Specifies the clip ID used by the protocols to access and
identify the clips.
Please note that at any time, the VDCP protocol can decide to
use either the default value or the VarID (see
).
See section "Clip Identifiers" on page 147 for more information
on clip identifiers.
