Pressure regulated volume control (PRVC) is an advanced mode of ventilation
that combines the advantages of a pressure regulated mode and its decelerating
inspiratory flow pattern with the ease of use of a volume control mode.
The advanced PRVC mode may be used to optimize clinical efficacy and improve
the patient transition to the step-down departments.

In addition, the iVent101 offers:

• Adaptive triggering that utilizes a fast response, self-learning triggering

algorithm which is based on both pressure and flow simultaneously as well as
other factors such as lung compliance, airway resistance and more.

• Enhanced patient comfort with adjustable Rise Time and Esens (flow

termination) with automated leak adaptation to accommodate patients being
ventilated either invasively or non-invasively.

• The multiple prescriptions capability enables the clinician to set the ventilator

for both daytime and night-time prescriptions.

• Special mouth piece ventilation setting helps save time and prevents nuisance

alarms by automatically adjusting the ventilator to support this ventilation
option. The iVent101 will also support a rate of zero for a complete solution for
this special ventilation option.

Enhanced performance.

Thanks to the high performance variable speed pneumatics and exhalation valve,
the iVent101 provides remarkable breath delivery capability. What’s more, to
facilitate independence and mobility, the ventilator is supported by a standard
internal battery. An optional internal or external battery designed for extended
use is also available.

The iVent101 also includes a comprehensive alarm and monitoring system to
enhance patient safety.
