Front Lift

1) Loosen front wheel lug nuts.
2) Place jack under center of ATV front end and lift until front wheels clear the ground. Be

careful to support ATV properly so that it is securely supported but so that A-arms and
shocks can droop to full extension.

3) Remove wheel and unbolt shock.
4) Slide lift bracket “A” over top of shock mount and insert spacer “C” between “ears” of

Yamaha top shock mount and bracket “A” using new 10x65mm bolt. Bracket “A” is
positioned with the longest single cut on the topside and closest to the center of the ATV.

5) Insert top of shock into other end of bracket “A”. Put spacer “B” beside eye of shock and

inside the bracket. Insert 10x65mm bolt from rear through bracket “A”, spacer “B”,
shock eye, and out of front side of bracket “A”.

6) Place bracket “H” on the front outside corner of bracket “A” and using the supplied 5/16”

x ½” U-Bolt and bracket “D”, bolt bracket “H” to upright tubular part of the ATV frame.
Bracket “H” is designed to prevent up or down movement of bracket “A”.

7) Install bottom of shock into original location, and then install all nuts.
8) Tighten all bolts to manufacturer’s torque specifications.
9) Install wheels, torque wheel lug nuts to manufacturer’s specifications, lower and remove

jack.

10) Repeat the procedure for the other side.
11) Check for clearance problems or misalignment.

Rear Lift

1) Place jack under ATV at the rear of the engine skid plate and lift until the weight is off of

the suspension. Be careful to secure the ATV properly so it will not fall off the jack. DO
NOT JACK UP REAR DIFFERENTIAL

2) Remove the bottom shock bolt.
3) After removing the shock bolt, jack the ATV up 1”-2” further.
4) Insert a new 7/16 x 3 ¼ bolt through the bottom of bracket “F”, the shock mount, spacer

E”, and bracket “G” and install the nut. (Notice that the thicker part of bracket “F” is
longer than the thick part of bracket “G”. Bracket “F” goes on the right, “G” on the left.)

5) Insert a new 7/16 x 3 ¼ bolt through the top of bracket “G” and “F”, bracket “I” and the

eye of the shock. Install bracket “I” on the top lift bracket bolt, inside of bracket “F”, and
the opposite end to the differential housing. If you have clearance problems due to long
bolts, it may be helpful to lower the ATV slightly and assemble the rear lift in a
horizontal position, so the bolts will clear the differential. After assembly, jack the ATV
up slowly so that the lift kit rotates up. When bracket “I” will bolt to the differential
tighten all bolts.

6) Tighten all bolts to manufacturer’s torque specifications.
7) Install the wheels, torque wheel lug nuts to manufacturer’s specifications, lower and

remove jack.

8) Check for clearance problems or misalignment.
