1. Match mark differential case halves with punch or
chisel for correct alignment in reassembly.

2. Remove differential case bolts and lift off differential
case cap half.
3. Remove differential gear thrust washer and differen-
tial side gear.
4. Lift out differential cross shaft, differential pinion
mates, and differential pinion mate thrust washers.
5. Remove second differential side gear and differen-
tial side gear thrust washer.
