The swivelling quick-release fastener consists of the following
components:
l Swivelling head section for radar sensor
l Base part for connection to the measuring point

3.2 P rinciple of operation
The swivelling quick-release fastener VEGAPULS 66 is a fitting for
simple, temporary separation of the radar sensor VEGAPULS 66 from
the measuring point. This can be e.g. a sounding pipe, standpipe or
bypass. It thus enables a manual level measurement at the measuring
point.
No tools are required to operate the fitting. A lock bolt prevents
unauthorized opening of the fitting.
On the sensor side, the fitting is provided with a connection Clamp 3",
on the measuring point side with a flange DN 50.
The radar sensor must have the following configuration:
