Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when plugged in. Unplug from the mains when not in
use and before servicing.

The use of the vacuum cleaner can result in foreign objects being blown into the eyes. Always wear
safety goggles and a dust mask when operating the vacuum cleaner.

Do not put any object into ventilation openings. Do not vacuum with any ventilation openings
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce air flow.

General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.

Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Keep this manual for future reference.

Operation

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

Assembly
1.
Take out the vacuum cleaner and the accessories from the packaging.
2. Release both metal clamps and lift the cover [C].
3. Make sure that the bag is in place.
4. Close the canister [E] by placing the cover [C] back and closing the metal clamps [D].
5. Insert the hose [G] into the hose connection [H] and turn clockwise to secure it.
6. Push the nozzle [F] onto the hose [G].

Using the Vacuum Cleaner
1.
Connect the vacuum cleaner to the mains.
2. Press the on/off switch [A] to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
3. Switch off after use.

After Using the Vacuum Cleaner
1.
Disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains.
2. Disassemble the hose [G] from the canister [E] (turn anticlockwise and pull).
3. Let the contents inside the canister cool down.
4. Empty the canister, clean with a humid towel, and let dry. Do not use abrasive or aggressive

cleaning agents.

5. Clean the bag with fresh water and let it dry (spare bag: order code WAF18M3BAGN).
6. Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry place.
