2. Installing

1.

The speakers are not easily moved or repositioned once installed.
Take a little extra time to carefully consider a good speaker location
before you begin. Measure the cut-out dimensions of the speaker and
cut a hole in the ceiling or wall using the appropriate tools.

2.

When connecting the speakers, it is very important to retain the
correct polarity. For regular speakers, be sure that the wire attached
to the red (+) terminal connects to the red (+) terminal of the other
component. Similarly, the negative (-) terminal should connect to the
negative (-) terminal on the other component. For speakers with a
100V line transformer and power selector, please choose the power
you would prefer to input and output.

3.

For speakers with dog-ear brackets, please remove the grille from the
frame by pressing the quick-turn mounting screws from the back of
the speaker. Attach the speaker wires to the speaker. With the grille
removed, insert the speaker into the mounting hole. Use a Phillips-
head screwdriver to turn the screw in a clockwise direction. The quick-
turn mounting system and frame will sandwich or clamp around the
wall to hold the speaker in place. Do not overtighten. If you are
unsure, consult a professional contractor. For speakers with spring
push-in brackets, just insert the speaker into the hole.

4.

Aim the swivel tweeter to the centre of the listening area. Press in the
grille.
