EARC15 – AUTO-REWIND CABLE REEL (15m)

Thank you for buying the EARC15! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the
device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
The auto-rewind cable reel can be wall mounted by means of the included bracket and can turn over a 180° angle. It
is equipped with an auto-rewind function and internal locking mechanism. The real rubber cable, ensuring a long-time
carefree usage in dirty environments, makes your EARC15 the ideal tool for use in workshops, garages etc.
2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Keep the swivel area free of any tools, equipment etc.
• Keep the device away from water and humidity to avoid lethal electroshocks. DO NOT HANDLE THE CABLE
WITH WET HANDS!
• Make sure to connect the reel to a voltage that does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this
manual.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
3. General Guidelines
• Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use.
• Check the power supply cable before each use.
• Do not leave an unwound cable in a cold environment as the cable can stiffen.
• Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device. Do not overload the device.
• Store your EARC15 in a dry, preferably warmed location, away from direct sunlight, humidity and chemicals.
• The device should be used indoors only.
4. Installation
Your EARC15 can be mounted onto the wall or on the ceiling by
means of the wall bracket. When choosing a mounting location,
make sure the device will be able to swivel through 180° once
mounted. Allow a 50cm clearance on both sides of the wall bracket.
To mount the bracket, mark the two mounting holes and drill the two
holes with an appropriate electric drill. Fix the bracket with the
included bulge screws. Fix the reel to the bracket using the included screws.
