F broadcast

Pull to broadcast siren, speech or whistle sound (depending on setting of the
siren/speak/whistle button [H]). Release to end broadcast.

5. Maintenance

• All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.

• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.

• There are no user serviceable parts. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

• The housing and visible parts should not be deformed or tampered with.

6. Battery

• When broadcast power becomes insufficient, replace the batteries with 8 new ones.

• Switch the speaker to standby mode (siren/speak/whistle button [H] to speak, broadcast

trigger [F] not pulled/microphone speak button [I] not pushed or locked)

• Open the battery cover by pulling the battery compartment lock [B] up and rotating the

cover around a hinge at the bottom of the megaphone.

• Take out the old batteries and insert 8 new 1.5V C batteries (LR14C, not incl.) in

accordance with the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Use the plastic
battery holders to keep the batteries in place.

• Close the battery compartment and push the battery compartment lock [B] down until it is

secure.

Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.
