10. Install the strut assembly into the strut tower and secure to the factory location using the supplied 3/8” nut supplied.
Make sure the bottom of the strut is aligned with the factory mount. See Photo 3.
11. Install the lower strut bolt in the order that it was removed as shown in Photo 4.
12. Using the floor jack, raise the lower control arm and connect the upper ball joint on the upper control arm to the spin-
dle. Tighten the ball joint nut per manufacturer specifications and install the cotter pin.
13. Repeat steps 4-12 on the opposite side of the vehicle.
14. Reconnect the sway bar end links in stock location.
15. Install the front wheels / tires
16. Jack up the vehicle to release the jack stands and remove the stands. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten
the upper strut tower nuts. 3 on each side
17. Recheck all bolts to make sure they are torque properly.
Rear Shackle Installation Instructions
1. Block front tires and lift the rear of the vehicle until the wheels clear the ground approximately 3”. Place jack stands
under the frame rails behind the spring mount. Lower the vehicle onto jack stands while axle is supported by floor
jack.
2. Remove the factory shock absorbers, retain stock hardware.
3. Carefully remove the upper and lower spring shackle hardware and remove the left and right shackle plates. At this
time the rear of the spring should be free.
4. Cutting the exhaust will be required to clearance rear leaf spring. Modification will be performed after the lift is in-
stalled and the vehicle is on the ground.
5. After cutting the exhaust, carefully lower the axle to allow the installation of the longer shackle.
6. Install the new shackle onto the frame with supplied bolts and hardware. With the floor jack under the axle lift up the
axle and spring to meet the shackle. See Photo 1.
7. Install the supplied sleeve as shown in Photo 2 and secure with supplied 14mm x 110mm bolt & nut. Tighten center
bolt but do not tighten the spring hardware or frame hardware at this time.
8. Install the new shock absorbers #658703 into the factory location using the factory hardware and tighten.
9. Install the wheels / tires on the vehicle.
10. Remove the jack stands and lower the vehicle to the ground.
11. Complete exhaust modification / rerouting.
