DeltaFlow*

By combining Reverse Osmosis, Gas Transfer Mem-
branes and Electrodeionization, the DeltaFlow pro-
cess is just one of many technologies available for
supplemental and extended term water treatment.

GE builds, owns, operates, and maintains long term
water treatment systems like this one at a US kraft
mill. This 10 year GE Long Term Service Agreement
reduced labor costs and cut chemical use by 87%.
Long term treatment systems can be installed in
one of our pre-engineered buildings, in your new or
existing building or in mobile containers.

Starting with municipal wastewater, this installation
uses 2-step RO prefilters along with an RO reject

storage tank. This al-
lows reject water to be
used for filter back-
wash to reduce overall
water usage.

The introduction of new technology (high flow
membranes) allowed this 1200 GPM (270 m

3

/hr) RO

system to be upgraded to 1800 GPM (405 m

3

/hr)

without additional equipment.
