Set-up and Operation
Overview
This section provides instructions for setting up and operating the IDRaman mini. Read all instructions
and warnings carefully before attempting to install and operate your device.
IDR-MINI
Point and Shoot Adapter
The Point and Shoot (PS) adapter (available in the IDR-MINI-ACCY accessory kit) is designed to be
used with many different samples. These include materials on surfaces and materials in vials or bottles.
With a simple twist of the PS collar it adjusts the position of the sample in relation to the Raman focal
point to obtain the best signal to noise.
• When rotated counterclockwise (viewed from the sample end) it adjusts the sample position
further away from the final lens of the PS adapter.
• When rotated clockwise it adjusts the sample position closer to the final lens of the PS.
